NAE's management team has extensive experience in all facets of upstream and downstream areas of the oil and gas industry.

David G. Eller, Chairman and CEO - Mr. Eller has been Chairman and the Chief Executive Officer of NAE since its inception. During the past forty years, Mr. Eller has held various executive positions in a wide array of public and private companies. Mr. Eller was founder and chairman of publicly traded American National Petroleum Company.  Mr. Eller has served two terms as Chairman of the Board of Regents of Texas A&M University System. He graduated in 1959 from Texas A&M University with dual bachelor's degrees in geological engineering and business administration. Mr. Eller has also attended the Stanford Graduate School of Business and the Harvard School of Business Administration.

Kenneth J. Loep, President - Mr. Loep has been the President of NAE since its formation. With more than forty years' experience as an executive, geologist and exploration manager, Mr. Loep brings to the corporation his expertise in prospecting and development of oil and gas properties, from the Gulf of Mexico, Gulf Coast, West Texas, New Mexico, Oklahoma and Rocky Mountain Region of the USA to the Middle East, Far East, Africa and Australia.  Mr. Loep received a BS in geology in 1960 from The University of Texas at Austin, and while working for Mobil Oil Corporation in 1968, he earned an MS in geology-micropaleontology from the University of Houston. He is also a licensed geoscientist in Texas.

John D. Kullman, Geologist - Mr. Kullman has more than 38 years of experience in the oil and natural gas industry working as a geologist in Texas, New Mexico and Oklahoma and is extensively involved in prospect generation ad lease evaluation.  Mr. Kullman graduated from Agustana College (Illinois) in 1965 with a BA in geology and the University of Iowa in 1968 with a MS in geology. Mr. Kullman is a member of the American Association of Petroleum Geologists, Texas Board of Professional Geoscientists, Society of Professional Earth Scientists, West Texas Geological Society and the South Texas Geological Society.

D.H. Burgard, Geophysicist - Mr. Burgard has more than 25 years experience as a proven oil finder with special emphasis in 3-D seismic applications and wrench tectonics in Paleozoic Basins.  Mr. Burgard graduated from Wichita State University (Kansas) in 1974 with a BA in geology and served in the United States Army from 1968 to 1971. He is a member of the American Association of Petroleum Geologists, Permian Basin Geophysical Society, West Texas Geological Society and the Society of Exploration Geophysicists.

L.M. “Mick” Denny, Geologist - Mr. Denny has more than 50 years experience as a Geologist primarily focused in Texas and New Mexico. Mr. Denny has advanced education in Well Logs and Core Analysis and graduated from the University of Kansas with a BS in geological engineering in 1955.  Mr. Denny is a member of the West Texas Geological Society and the Society of Independent Professional Earth Scientists.
